Where does stress come from? One source is anxiety. Anxiety is described as a feeling of worry, nervousness or agitation, often about something that is going to happen. Psychiatry describes anxiety as a medical condition marked by intense apprehension or fear of real or imagined danger.

So, stress can look like fear:

* Fear of not living up to other's expectations.
* Fear of being ridiculed.
* Fear of the unknown and the expected (something that is going to happen).
* Fear of some threat, weather real or imagined.

Stress manifests in many forms. The first thing to do when fighting something or trying to overcome something is to learn as much as you can about the subject.
