Grief & Loss

If you have experienced a loss (death of one you love) or major life change (i.e. divorce) you could be suffering from grief. Everyone experiences grief in their own way. It is not uncommon for a person to withdraw from their friends and family and feel helpless; some might be angry and want to take action. Some may even laugh. Often people feel:

  • disorganized
  • tired
  • have trouble concentrating
  • sleep poorly and have vivid dreams
  • experience change in appetite.

One of Hope's counselors can help you walk through this difficult time in your life.
